Silsbee Independent School District
Silsbee Independent School District is a TEA Recognized District. The district covers a 264 square mile area and has approximately 3000 students enrolled. There are five campuses with one high school, one middle school and three elementary campuses: Silsbee High School is comprised of grades 9-12; Edwards-Johnson Memorial Silsbee Middle School, grades 6-8; Laura Reeves Elementary, grades 4-5; Read-Turrentine Elementary, grades 2-3; and John Henry Kirby Elementary, grades PK-1. The district believes in Putting Kids First! and that teachers are the key to success in any classroom.
