MISSION STATEMENT
To provide timely, accurate financial information following proper, established internal control procedures.

DESCRIPTION
This department is responsible for recording and summarizing all financial transactions and reporting the results to City management. These duties include payroll processing, fixed asset management, all payment processing and production of all monthly financial statements. It is also the responsibility of this department for all data processing.

OBJECTIVES

1. To minimize the amount of utility accounts receivable write- offs

2. Implement new financial reporting software and hardware packages.

3. To provide adequate training for all personnel in the use of new hardware and software.
